Host a Chain Breaking Event
Freedom Stones offers several formats for hosting a small or large sales event. We offer selections of jewelry for small home parties as well as selections for larger venues such as civic group or church sponsored events in which you can buy our jewelry and resell for your own fundraising purposes (while still benefitting our projects). Both of these options offer a 25% discounted rate from our retail prices online.
Additionally, in the Dallas Forth Worth area only, we offer a unique event called "Under the Mango Tree." In Ghana when people meet to share their stories, their pain as well as their joys, they do this under the shade of enormous mango trees. It's about sharing life together. This event mirrors this community fellowship and helps connect our stories to those around the world in need. At each event we offer the chance to learn jewelry making using the same methods and materials used by artisans in our projects. This event also offers an opportunity to enjoy fellowship with other women, learn about the issue of human trafficking, and contains a spiritual component which brings our own suffering, growth and healing into perspective in light of the greater meta-narrative of life. At the end of their time together, women better understand their solidarity with one another and with women around the world.
